Christmas has been and gone for another year and we all had a lovely family time.

Unfortunately because of the weather we lost bookings over New Year because people were, very understandably, concerned about travelling any distance.

This is not a part of the country which normally sees any amount of snow so it has been very unusual for us to have the amount that we have had. It has all looked very beautiful but unfortunately we all have to work and as elsewhere it has caused many problems. It appears that we are on the edge of a thaw so it will soon be business as usual.

May I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope to be able to welcome both returning and new guests in 2010.
